In Dec was given 50mg of Losartan. Had side effects. Then put on amlodipine/benazepril 10/40. Side effects, put on 5/20 of that med. Fainted, then was told to go off cold turkey. Wouldn t go off cold turkey, so was put on 2.5 amlodipine. Still get very weak. Should I go off that? If so, cold turkey? Felt fine before any of these meds.

Tapering off Lexapro, rather than coming off it cold turkey, is the best way to stop using this drug.

Don't go cold turkey. Follow doctor's instructions for tapering off. It's probably going to be difficult enough tapering off the medication.
