Good to see you back on LIt, and CONGRATS on the baby. I can't wait for the next chapter, but know you other things to worry about and understand. There are quite a few unnecessarily convoluted sentences, some of which are hard to read, e.g.

So the part about drugging the kids, remember the affair has been going on for about a year. Go look up the prolonged effects of using Benadryl. Not fries your liver sort of thing but definitely something the kids should not be subjected to. She got off way too easy. There should be criminal charges for this and the grandfather should be charged as an accessory.

This is stellar work, unique and original, rare for LW. This story hits me personally as my 2yr cancer is in remission but still present.... The quarterly treatment side affects are a butt licker but it beats the alternative. I hope Parker and Jean have a good life - they both went thru hell to deserve a reprieve.
