I am 32 and have been diagnosed with an enlarged heart caused by high blood pressure and have been prescribed Losartan/50mg for the foreseeable future. My GP told me i cannot take Ibuprofen or nurofen etc while i am on Losartan. Unfortunately i have a re-occuring back injury and rely on these to help my back. My GP has told me to use paracetamol but these are rarely strong enough to help with pain when my back "goes". Does anybody know of a strong painkiller i can use alongside Losartan to help my back?.. All advice greatfully recieved. Thanks.. Hi Chippet, I am on multiple medications and I have been given Tylenol 3s and Tylenol 2s to take as needed. I would hope that they do not interact with any of my meds. They work very well for muscle aches and pains. I was given a muscle relaxant in the past, which should never have been prescribed. Now I always check for drug interactions before taking any new medication. I can't remember whether or not I checked the Tylenol for interactions with my other meds. I think I did. Good luck with your treatment. As I am sure you were told, keeping the blood pressure well controlled is of utmost importance. It speeds up the recovery
