The elevated blood pressure sitbcknchill mentions is another regular symptom, prolonged use could cause the condition Hypertension.Incidently, tobacco, caffeine and cough and cold medications, especially those that are decongenstants containing things like pseudoephedrine cause vasoconstriction so it would be sensible to consider minimizing use of these if any parrots are determined to use amphetamine. Tobacco is known to cause a condition called Peripheral vascular disease which affects mobility long term and certainly causes discomfort and often pain.From medscape: "methamphetamine lacks much of the peripheral stimulant properties of amphetamine while still offering euphoric and hallucinogenic properties. Actually it is being studied as a treatment for hypertension among many other things. It is known to be a mild vasodilator. I don't want to throw this thread too far off topic though might be a good topic to discuss in the right thread.
